Taylor GS Mini-e Bass – Natural – 2017 – Pre-Owned

A superb Taylor GS Mini-e Bass, combining Taylor's hugely popular compact GS Mini body with a surprisingly full and convincing acoustic bass sound.

The GS Mini Bass is built around a comfortable 23.5" short scale, making it considerably more compact and easy to play than a conventional acoustic bass. Despite its smaller dimensions, it delivers a warm, rich bass response that works particularly well for acoustic sessions, songwriting, recording and home playing.

This 2017 example features a solid Sitka spruce top with layered sapele back and sides, mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard. Taylor's ES-B electronics allow the bass to be plugged directly into an amplifier or PA, with convenient onboard controls and tuner.

The GS Mini Bass uses specially developed strings designed for its shorter scale, providing a comfortable playing feel while retaining a convincing bass response.
